Red Antler Gets Bookish: Round Top’s Design Hub Hosts Architecture and Design Legends

Red Antler Hotel was a hub for design and architecture lovers when owners John Cone and Greg Fourticq hosted cocktails and book signings for L.A.-based designer Peter Dunham, Nashville/NYC designer Ray Booth and Houston architect Bill Curtis of Curtis & Windham Architects.

Guests gathered in the gracious James Cabana and pool house designed by Meredith Ellis, who was in town with husband, Hunter Ellis; they're the co-owners of James showroom in Houston, Dallas, and NYC.

Chef Fogarty served bites while guests waited to hobnob with their design heroes: Dunham signed his new book The World of Peter Dunham: Global Style from Paris to Hollywood; Booth, principal partner of McAlpine, signed Ray Booth: The Expressive Home: Architecture and Interiors; and Curtis signed Building on Tradition: The Work of Curtis & Windham Architects.
