This two-day event is part of a special weekend of programming in partnership with the Texas Historical Commission and the Smithsonian’s Museum on Main Street (MoMS) program. The public can attend a special screening of films and videos featuring archival footage of the area “Starring Brenham” which will take place at the site of the MoMS traveling exhibition “Crossroads: Change in Rural America”. Highlights include the Texas Declaration of Independence centennial, Brenham Maifest Parade, Salt Grass Trail Ride, and many local businesses like Blue Bell Creameries, Beaumier Iron Works, and Marketplace Casseroles.
