Texas music icon Willie Nelson will be celebrated April 21st at the Second Annual Willie Nelson Tribute Mass in the historic 120-year old Dance Hall in Round Top, Texas. “The Spirit of Willie Nelson” features six All-Star musicians from Texas and New Orleans and a sermon by “The Padre” William “Father Bill” Miller, founder of the beloved Padre’s music venue in Marfa, Texas. The service is an unofficial part of the One Square Mile Music Festival in Round Top that features an extraordinary line-up of musicians from Texas and beyond. Musicians for the Mass include Crispin Schroeder, David Pulkingham, Ellen Melissa Story, Gus Alvarado and Bobby McDonald. This unique worship experience includes songs made famous by Willie such as: Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain, The Maker, Blue Skies, In God’s Eyes, I Thought About You, Lord, Angel Flying Too Close to the Ground, Yesterday’s Wine, Forgiving You Was Easy, Always on My Mind, Family Bible, and On the Road Again.
