What
The Round Top Fine Art Festival is a premier, juried art experience that brings world-class creativity to the heart of Texas. Hosted bi-annually at The Compound—a stunning, rustic-elegant venue just outside the historic square of Round Top, Texas—this event offers a sophisticated, intimate alternative to the region’s massive antique weeks. Twice a year, the festival transforms into a vibrant cultural hub, showcasing a carefully curated selection of original works from 75-100 distinguished national artists and artisans, all-inclusive. Visitors can wander through light-filled barns and pristine open-air spaces to discover unique, gallery-quality pieces, spanning contemporary paintings, detailed drawings, sculptures, fine ceramics, hand-crafted woodwork, master-crafted jewelry, and fine-art photography. What truly sets the event apart is its unique blend of upscale art and relaxed, small-town Texas hospitality. The weekend kicks off with a lunchtime preview, giving collectors a first look at the collections alongside handcrafted cocktails and live music. Throughout the festival, guests can enjoy gourmet food trucks, specialty drinks, and direct conversations with the creators themselves. Deeply rooted in the community, the festival partners with organizations like A Meeting of Styles to ensure its celebration of creativity has a lasting impact on local arts and culture education.
