The Bugle Boy is thrilled to host an intimate evening showcasing two of the absolute finest singers and songwriters in Austin, if not all of Texas! Over the course of a long and prolific career stretching back to the ’90s, Ray Prim has garnered many a favorable comparison to the legendary likes of Bill Withers and Al Green thanks to his unerring knack for marrying meaningful lyrics with engaging melodies resulting in what can be aptly described as “ear candy for the soul.” He’ll be swapping songs and stories with the equally formidable Suzanna Choffel, who began gigging in R&B bands at the Continental Club and Antone’s in her teens and went on to win both local and national acclaim on the strength of her “honeyed husk” of a voice and intoxicating blend of original pop, soul, reggae, and sultry jazz — not to mention what Rolling Stone calls “all the vibe in the world.”
