Want to lend a helping hand and enjoy a morning in the great outdoors? Join us for our upcoming Festival Hill Gardens & Grounds Service Day! Our service days are a great way to spend time outdoors, meet fellow garden and nature enthusiasts, and help keep the beautiful grounds of Festival Hill looking their best. Over the years, our service group has grown into a wonderful community of dedicated volunteers and friends who enjoy working together and giving back to the place we love. Depending on the season and what’s needed around campus, projects may include clearing walking trails, raking leaves, trimming shrubs, weeding, planting, mulching garden beds, and other garden and grounds projects. We meet at 9:30 a.m. and work together in our project areas until about 12:30 p.m., when we pause for a group photo and enjoy lunch together.
Come for the gardens, stay for the friendship, and invite a friend! After registering, you’ll receive an email during the week of the event with additional information about what to bring and where to meet.
