David Beck is a Texas-born (San Marcos) jack of all musical styles. To date, in addition to his busy studio schedule as an in-demand producer and stand-up bass player par excellence, he’s already proven himself a keen hand at whip-smart Americana (Sons of Fathers), dreamily melodic indie-pop (Blue Healer), and impossible-not-to-dance-to Tex-Mex (David Beck’s Tejano Weekend).
For this visit to the Bugle Boy, Beck will be bringing a full band with him but wearing his singer-songwriter hat, showcasing material from such solo projects as his 2021 album, Good Nature.
