Both women have made remarkable strides in their own lanes: Wonderland as a widely-renowned Texas guitar hero who’s jammed with Bob Dylan, Buddy Guy, and Johnny Winter. King as an award-winning Texas singer-songwriter (whose songs were famously covered by the late, great Toni Price) and as the first woman appointed by the Texas Legislature to represent the state as its Official Texas State Musician.
