Stardust Ranch has streaked onto the greater Round Top lodging and events scene, bringing luxurious overnight stays and spaces for relaxation, intimate gatherings, and creative retreats to Fayetteville.

Taking inspiration from iconic performer and recording artist David Bowie, Stardust Ranch is designed by Jessica Love, the principal and interior designer of Austin-based Urbane Design. The full property will be unveiled and open for bookings for the spring 2026 Round Top Antiques & Design Show scheduled for March 14 – 28.

Once complete, the property will offer a spacious the spacious Bowie House for lodging and entertaining the Ziggy House guest house, and two sky domes for sleeping with a view of the stars. Amenities will include a large pool, bathhouse and sauna, outdoor pavilion and kitchen, and mobile bar.

Stardust Ranch hosted a preview event this fall, giving invitees a taste of what’s to come. The evening began with cocktails from the Rebel Spirits bar, and a honey tasting provided by Apis World.

Roaming Fire Food prepared a seated family style dinner starting with a tuna crudo (raw tuna topped with olives, basil, crushed pistachios and olive oil). Grilled picanha steak topped with a pomegranate chimichurri and grilled branzino topped with lemon, oilive oil and caper berries served as the main course. All was accompanied by plancha roasted baby potatoes with rosemary and sea salt and a farm salad of cherry tomatoes, herbs, shredded carrots with a Dijon apple cider dressing.

Bananarchy provided a sweet ending to the meal with guests lining up for their frozen chocolate and peanut butter coated bananas with a choice of candy toppings. Following dessert, attendees wandered out into the field to partake in a romantic star gazing session put on by Stars and Science Austin
